What a scan checks, what you get back, what we fix for you, and the rules we hold ourselves to while we do it.

1.0How a scan works

A scan asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google the questions your customers actually ask: discovery questions ("best options near me" or "best tools for X"), evaluation questions ("is this business any good?"), and fact questions (your address, phone, hours, website). It also checks whether your own website lets the AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot) read you at all, since a blocked crawler makes everything else moot.

Each question is asked multiple times per engine, because AI answers vary between sessions. No figure in your report ever relies on a single query.

Your grade combines two things, equally weighted: how often AI names you when customers search, and whether the facts AI states about you are correct. A is 85%+, F is below 30%.

2.0What you get back

Every scan ends in a letter grade, A to F, and a plain verdict: where AI already names you, where it names a rival instead, and every fact it gets wrong.

You also see which rivals get named ahead of you and the reason, whether it is more reviews, listings you are missing, or facts you have left blank, so the problem is concrete, not a vague score.

3.0What we fix for you

We fix the inputs AI reads. We get you more reviews with on-brand requests aimed at the exact service AI overlooks, correct your hours, address, and services on a facts page we host for you, and draft a reply to every review you already have. If your robots.txt is blocking the AI crawlers, we hand you the exact lines to unblock them for you or your web host to paste in.

For questions AI still cannot answer about you, we publish an answer page we host so AI can quote it, and post that update to your Google profile once you connect Google.

You approve each one. We never auto-publish. Once you connect Google, an approved fix pushes the correction to your Google Business Profile; until then, we hand you the exact change to make.

On Core ($49/mo) you get every fix found and drafted to apply yourself. On Pro ($99/mo) we do the sending, correcting, and drafting for you.

4.0Keeping it accurate

We re-scan on a schedule and hand you a fix list ranked by impact, so the highest-leverage correction is always at the top. You watch the grade move at every scan.

5.0What we will never claim

checkWe never promise traffic, rankings, or revenue. Nobody controls what AI says; we measure it and improve the inputs AI reads: your reviews, your facts, and your public pages.
checkWe never present a sampled number as an exact one. Every figure is labeled as sampled.
checkWe never report an action Prominence did not actually take. Every line in your weekly report is derived from a real timestamp written by the operation itself.
checkWe never auto-publish anything. Once you connect Google, approving a fix pushes the correction to your Google Business Profile for you; the pages we host for you update automatically. Nothing reaches a surface you own without your OK.

6.0The 90-day guarantee

On Pro: in 90 days AI states your core facts (name, address, phone, website) more accurately, or we refund every dollar.

Why Pro: Pro ($99/mo) is where we do the work that moves accuracy for you, sending review requests targeted to what AI misses, drafting replies, syncing your Google facts once you connect Google, and keeping your answer pages current, so we can stand behind the outcome. On Core ($49/mo) you do the fixes yourself, so there is no outcome to guarantee; instead Core is simply cancel anytime, no contract.

Terms, in plain words: on Pro, the window starts the day your paid subscription starts. If AI is not describing your business more accurately on your latest scan than on your first, meaning your name, address, phone, and website stated correctly, after 90 days, email support@tryprominence.com from your account email and we refund every dollar you paid. No forms, no calls, no partial refunds.

7.0Your data

checkWhat we store: the AI answers about your business, the public facts we read from your website, and your scan history. That is the product.
checkPayments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
checkYour answers and history are never shared with other customers or used to train anything.
checkWant everything deleted? Email support@tryprominence.com and it is done within 7 days.

8.0Who runs this

Prominence is founder-run. When you email support@tryprominence.com, a human who works on the product answers you.
